‘Avatar’ Sequel Film ‘Aang: The Last Airbender’ Revives the Animated Franchise With Breathtaking Visuals: TV Review
It’s a shame most fans of the “Avatar” franchise won’t have the chance to see its first animated feature on the big screen. (M. Night Shyamalan’s risible 2010 live-action film will be acknowledged here and here only.) “Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender” is the first official release from Avatar Studios, the shingle set up half a decade ago — animation takes time! — to expand the cult hit animated show and its sequel series “The Legend of Korra” into a broader franchise. “Avatar Aang” does so with gorgeous visuals and thoughtful worldbuilding that would surely benefit from the theatrical distribution the movie was originally slated to receive. Instead, the movie will be available on the big screen only for a limited, awards-qualifying run in New York and L.A. Everyone else will have to settle for streaming it on Paramount+, though even a scaled-down viewing experience still delivers on both excitement and nostalgia.

Physicists turn to the universe's 'piano notes' to detect hidden particles
It's been said that a finely tuned ear knows the size and shape of a piano by merely listening to the instrument's notes. An international team of physicists has now devised an analogous approach to detect the universe's hidden particles at high energies—opening a potential pathway for discovering new laws of physics.

A finance agent receives what appears to be a routine instruction from a procurement agent: update a supplier's bank details and release the next payment run. No human reviews it; the payment clears at machine speed. The instruction was forged. The exchange relied on an identity and signing architecture designed for today’s application landscape, not for an autonomous, post-quantum future.
Subaru's New 2026 WRX Base Trim Kicks A Lot Of Ass For $33,690 - Jalopnik
Subaru
I get to do a lot of really cool stuff in this job, but when I was asked if I'd like to travel to the UK with Subaru to drive the new base model 2026 WRX on a track, go to Jeremy Clarkson's pub, then attend the famed Goodwood Festival of Speed to watch Travis Pastrana huck the badass Brataroo up the hill, I squealed with delight. It's the same as asking your dog if they want to go for a walk — the answer is a hearty "hell yeah!"

In conversations with retail technology leaders, I keep hearing a version of the same plan. They've watched a competitor announce an AI-powered shopping experience, and their CEO is asking when their site is getting one. They're evaluating language models, lining up vendors and sizing GPU budgets.
We now have independent testing confirming Razer's latest innovative mouse sensor tech does what it says it does
The best gaming mouse on the market right now is the Razer Viper V4 Pro. It's the best because it's light, very well-built, performant, and has great battery life. This last quality—its battery life—is largely thanks to Razer's new FrameSync tech, which is kind of like G-Sync but for a mouse sensor rather than a monitor's refresh rate. And now we have independent testing confirming that the new and innovative tech works as Razer describes it.
