Viktor Antonov died in early 2025

Last year, the art director behind titans of visual design like Half-Life 2 and Dishonored, Viktor Antonov, died at the age of 53. Prior to his death, in 2022 he co-founded Eschatology Entertainment with Dmytro Kostiukevych, Fuad Kuliev and Boris Nikolaev, who were yet to announce their first game formally. But today it's been revealed and it's called Guns of Eschaton, the "world’s first soulslike FPS."

In a lot of ways, even the phrase "ultra-high-performance all-season tires" sounds wrong. Tires are supposed to follow rules, and the rules say that all-season tires can be fine for normal drivers, but you don't want something that says "all season" on a performance car. • We haven't seen exactly how "limited" this limited edition is, but the listed price comes out to just $38,933 based on current exchange rates.

Armchair experts from every corner of the internet have labeled the new Honda Prelude as a flop or a poor representation of the car's past. No black hole could ever be described as small. Even the most diminutive are many times the mass of the sun. But there is a now talk of a variety that throws shade on all others: the stupendously large black holes, otherwise known as SLABs. These dark monsters could be as massive as whole galaxies or even bigger.

If you find yourself wandering Seoul's Gwangjang Market in search of a meal, it's hard not to be in awe. There's an uncountable number of restaurants, stands, and curio shops to peruse. Custom children's dresses and Pokémon claw games are mixed in among the corn dogs, dumplings, fried chicken, soup, and kimchi—enough to make a cabbage farmer blush. But there are some familiar faces: If you were to believe that all the kitchens with a photo of a celebrity chef eating the spot's specialty are lights-out good, then this market is a food mecca worth the travel. Anthony Bourdain and Gordon Ramsay were the most common I clocked. Wait, what's that? A tank full of baby octopuses? Yup, they cut up the little mollusk and serve it while it's still moving. I'll try anything once.

I don't want to call Adam Smith lazy, but since first writing about Ground Branch's Kickstarter campaign back in 2012, he's not given a single update on the tactical shooter's development.
