And just like that, Polestar has to pack up its tent and go home, just as it was rolling out its third and fourth models. Regardless of where you stand on politics, Polestar executives should have read the room years ago—when U.S. policies against China were mounting, before they separated from Volvo to become public and majority-owned by Geely. It's a bummer for them, but, well, that's why a new Polestar 4 is now priced below a Chevy Bolt. In addition to a $23,000 discount, Polestar 3 buyers can get either a $2000 conquest credit or a $4000 loyalty credit. The Polestar 4 gets a $25,000 discount, but is eligible only for a $1000 loyalty credit. Or, in what may be the best deal on a Polestar 4, the company offers zero-percent interest for five years with an $18,000 discount.

Every 2026 Mazda with four doors is available for zero (or close to zero) interest for five years and deferred payments for 90 days. Twin-turbo versions of the CX-70 and CX-90 get the 0.9-percent rate, while the Miata's 4.9 percent proudly shouts, "I don't need any help!" (But even the Miata comes with the 90-day deferment.) Cash rebates ranging between $1000 and $5000 are available to buyers who do not finance at the special rates, but free borrowed money is not something we'd pass up.

This July, Mini is offering 1.99 percent interest for four years on all Cooper models except the JCW hardtop. That applies to two-door hardtops, convertibles, and four-door hardtops in any trim (except for special editions like the Paul Smith). The 0.9-percent deal is only for the Countryman S, but oddly not for the electric Countryman SE, which commands 2.99 percent. Mini owners can knock off another $1500 from any 2026 or 2027 Mini except the Oxford Edition trims.

How does paying off a Mitsubishi for six years with no interest sound to you? As the only three-row compact SUV on sale, the Outlander is a unique proposition and manages to be nicer inside than the Nissan Rogue on which it's based. This deal is only for the Trail Edition, which is kind of rad with blacked-out lights, hood decals, and mud flaps. It's a loaded-up trim with a Yamaha stereo, a panoramic sunroof, and a lot more. Other trims finance at 3.99 percent (or 4.99 percent for the Outlander Hybrid). The $500 rebate applies to the Trail Edition in select states; the larger rebates are only for select trims if you don't go for the special APR.

Ram's playing hardball with the 1500. Take 12 percent off the sticker of the Big Horn and Laramie 4x4 trims with the crew cab and short bed, and 15 percent off any Limited (which adds no payments for 90 days). Every other Ram 1500 except the RHO and Laramie in the crew cab/short bed configuration gets zero-percent financing for three years (five years on the Laramie) with deferred payments. Returning Stellantis lessees can finance without those terms for $5500 off the MSRP (or $2000 on the Tungsten), but to us, choosing a zero-interest loan is a no-brainer.

Rarely do we post Land Rover deals, because there are usually none that qualify as actual deals. But this July, Land Rover is offering 1.9 percent financing across every Range Rover model except Queen Elizabeth's personal favorite, the big Rangie, along with the Discovery. Additional conquest rebates are available to current owners of specific late-model competitor vehicles. All of which makes it a smashing good time to be riding high in a Range Rover on the way to the private school pickup lane.

Audi, being a German automaker, would never publicly admit when it's struggling. But with U.S. sales down 30 percent in the first quarter alone, that explains the rash of deals across the majority of the brand's most popular vehicles. While EVs are excluded, the rebates take thousands off Audi's bread-and-butter models—$2500 off a Q5 or A5, $4000 off an A6—and stretch to as high as $6000 off a Q7. If you're a current Audi owner, there's an additional credit of $750, $1500, or $2000, depending on the model.
